Q. List any six qualities of insulating material.
- Material should have high resistivity, high dielectric strength, high dielectric constant (permitivity), less dielectric loss.
- It should be mechanically strong, tough, flexible, viscous.
- It should be non porous, non-soluble.
- It should have good machining and moulding properties.
- It should be heat resistant.
- It should not be affected by chemicals .
